Space Lasers

The City of Montreal awaits the arrival of another beautiful summer.

Evening folks. I just wanted to take this time and restate the future agenda for this newsblog and the stories we will be focusing on over the next month or so.

Top priority remains the Iran issue and how the West will react to Iran's commitment to pursue nuclear energy. Will there be another attack/invasion like Iraq? This reporter expects a lot of talk and sabre-rattling, with the outside of possiblity of a U.S. lead attack sometime this fall (just in time for the domestic congressional elections of November.)

Secondly, Iraq and the potential for the eventual pullout of troops will be focused on. As will the development and fermentation of the Iraqi parliament into a legitimate ruling body. Other priorities will be the various investigations into the W administration's nefarious activities such as the N.S.A. wiretap scandal and the C.I.A. leak scandal.

And finally, Fookpop will continue to cover the various interesting stories that pop up every now and then that this reporter believes is important and relevant to his readers.

Now the news...
