What we find in the current situation is a real lack of momentum for the W Administration's push towards another war in Iran and, for the first time since the 2000 Election, a U.S. electorate going into elections with a relatively clear mind about the state of the nation. Without a 9/11 or Bin Laden tape hanging over their heads, November will tell which lesser of two evils the people of the U.S. want ruling their affairs.And throughout the turmoil of this summer, with the Lebanon War, the threat of liquids and gels on U.K. airlines, and more recently, contaminated spinach and school shootings, we have the grand tragedy of Iraq raging every day, receiving less and less coverage as the days drag on.
